Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic, creative professional to join our team and take the lead in building and growing the Live Market presence on K-App, KWAVE’s own short-form video and live commerce platform inspired by TikTok.

In this role, you will drive engagement, sales, and brand awareness by planning and hosting live commerce events, crafting interactive live content, and managing the overall live streaming strategy on K-App. If you are passionate about beauty, live streaming, and social commerce — and love connecting with audiences in real time — this is your opportunity to shine.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, hosting, and execution of live commerce events on K-App (kwave), showcasing products and engaging with audiences in real time.
• Develop creative live streaming concepts and content to drive sales, boost engagement, and grow the K-App community.
• Collaborate with influencers, content creators, and internal teams to enhance the reach and quality of live commerce events.
• Manage and optimize K-App social media presence by creating engaging short-form and live content tailored to the platform.
• Research live commerce and social media trends to inform strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of live streams and campaigns, providing actionable insights for improvement.
• Build and nurture relationships with the K-Culture and K-Beauty community, fostering an authentic and interactive brand presence.
• Coordinate with product, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure product availability and readiness for live events.
• Actively engage with the audience during and after live sessions to encourage participation, feedback, and repeat visits.
• Experiment with new formats, features, and creative ideas to keep the K-App experience fresh and innovative.

Qualifications

Proven experience hosting or managing live commerce, social media live streams, or similar interactive video content.
• Strong on-camera presence and excellent communication skills.
• Passion for beauty, cosmetics, and connecting with online audiences.
• Familiarity with social media trends, especially short-form and live-streaming platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Live, Facebook Live).
• Creative mindset with the ability to plan and execute engaging content.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve results.
• Bilingual in Korean and English (preferred, but not required).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Background check required as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.

Preferred Qualifications

• Genuine passion for beauty and cosmetics
• Experience in both Korean and U.S. business environments
• Demonstrated ability to grow a personal or professional social platform with a large following
• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (intermediate speaking, reading, and writing) preferred, to support communication with Korean-speaking customers, vendors, and internal teams
