Job Description

We are looking for a talented, passionate individual to join our team at our California headquarters and help put KWAVE — and the Korean beauty industry — on the map through bold, creative social and live e-commerce marketing.

In this role, you’ll craft and execute strategies that bring K-Beauty to life on social and live platforms — from planning engaging live shopping events to collaborating with influencers, creating interactive content, and building vibrant online communities that drive sales and brand loyalty.

This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity for someone who loves skincare and cosmetics and thrives on designing innovative social and live commerce services that fuel the rapid growth of our online store. You’ll bring together your skills in design, marketing, and service planning to create impactful ideas and see them come to life across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging live-stream shopping platforms.

Location: Los Angeles, California

Key Responsibilities

• Research K-Beauty market trends
• Plan on-site promotions for the e-commerce platform
• Identify and collaborate with key beauty influencers
• Manage the company’s social media platforms
• Plan and develop social platform strategies applicable to our brand
• Conceptualize and create social live commerce content based on insights
• Compile and present research findings in reports

Qualifications

• Experience collaborating and communicating effectively with diverse teams
• Open to challenges and eager to learn new things
• Strong interest in beauty brands and industry trends
• Experience managing social platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook
• Experience operating live social commerce platforms
• Background knowledge of the U.S. beauty market and customer behavior
• Familiarity with and enthusiasm for U.S. social media trends (TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
• Interest in and appreciation for user-centered product UI/UX design
• Insight into and curiosity about developing and improving new products
• Bright, positive, and proactive attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Genuine passion for beauty and cosmetics
• Experience in both Korean and U.S. business environments
• Demonstrated ability to grow a personal or professional social platform with a large following
• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English (intermediate speaking, reading, and writing) preferred, to support communication with Korean-speaking customers, vendors, and internal teams
